Participation in the percussion ensemble at the University of Wisconsin-Superior is a highlight of the collegiate percussion experience.  The percussion ensemble meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:00-2:50 in the fall and spring semesters, and performs one major concert each semester.  The UWS Percussion Ensemble plays a wide variety of music ranging from transcriptions from the classical music tradition to the most contemporary works for percussion ensemble, to works by student composers.  Participation in the percussion ensemble is open to both music majors and those majoring in other disciplines.  A short audition is required.
